Self Discovery Coaching In our Our 3 Module / 7 Session Powerful Self Discovery Series, you will gain a newfound knowledge about yourself to bring focus, clarity and depth to your actions, habits, brainstorming, decision making, visioning and goal-setting. And you will learn to align your life, priorities and actions with who you really are.
Module 1. Boost Self-Confidence and Self-Awareness Use these 3 Tools to help boost your self-confidence, self-knowledge and fun/happiness in life.
Session 1. What Makes My Heart Sing?
This session will help you find more happiness – where you are. Creates a more joyous and genuine self-connection through understanding what makes your “heart sing”. This is one of my absolute favourite coaching exercises and it’s incredibly simple. Its power lies in the realisation that what makes us happy is usually free – and easy to do. So why aren’t we doing these things more often? Why are we so busy chasing material goals?
This exercise is also a great beginning for questioning many other things in your life previously assumed or taken for granted.
Session 2. Troll Travels – Who am I? Self- Discovery Exercise
You will identify – through elimination – the 5 qualities you value MOST about yourself. And it might not be what you expect… This powerful process helps you understand what makes them unique – and what you like most about yourself – in your own words!
Session 3. Role Model Confidence Boosting Practice
This simple coaching exercise helps you move closer to embodying the personal qualities you admire in others, and boost your confidence as you realize you already have (or have the seed for) those qualities within yourself
Module 2. Go Deeper and Create a Positive Outlook – Explore what really matters to you, daily experience of life and look for deeper meanings in symbols and dreams.
Session 4. Personal Values Identification
This values identification session uses a 5 Step process to get to a prioritised set of Top 10 Core Values. When you are clear on your values you understand what drives and motivates you AND what demotivates you. Use your values to make more informed life changes and decisions, choosing goals, roles, activities and people that support your values – and avoid those that contradict them.
This session derives your values from your passions and interests, instead of picking values from a list of words or going straight to ‘SHOULD Value’ words – like honesty and respect – where people will often choose values expected of them.
My favourite part of this values process is the prioritisation, which really gets you challenging assumptions about the way you think you SHOULD be, as opposed to what REALLY matters to you…
Session 5. Daily Gratitude Practice
Get started on gratitude, the power of journaling and realising we can change the way we see our lives! This session provides a step-by-step framework that asks you to review your day, what you could learn from it and what you’re grateful for. At the end, you reconsider your day in light of their new understanding and see what has changed. After all, it’s our thoughts about the day, and not the day ‘itself’ that affects how we feel…
Session 6. Intuition and Dream Symbol Exercise
This session is a great exercise for left-brained (highly logical) people who would like to access their intuition, creativity and imagination. Also great for anyone who likes to talk about their dreams or who enjoys symbols and mascots – to help explore intuition, subconscious processes and learn and grow from them.
Module 3. Where Might You Sabotage Yourself? –Take a first look at your inner critic or gremlin and how it operates!
Session 7. Draw Out Your Gremlin
Call it your inner critic, judge or gremlin – but we all have a part of ourselves that judges, criticizes and censors us. This exercise helps you literally “realize” your critic or gremlin by drawing it out. By completing this exercise you clients will begin to become aware of how your critic operates – which will help you deal better with it, and self-sabotage less going forwards.
