I use evidence-based assessments such as EQ-i 2.0 & EQ 360, Enneagram, Birkman Method, and MBTI because of their power to reveal blind spots and take coaching out of the realm of subjective guesswork. As well, I have strong intuition and an ability to find issues that lie below the surface. Lastly, I see the big picture. I have broad perspective gained from 28 years working in such industries as health care, construction, education, energy, engineering, financial services, government, insurance, leisure & travel, and technology, to name a few.
The work of coaching begins with a comprehensive assessment of the client’s current reality: what do you intend? What’s working? What’s not working? The answers to these questions focus our path forward and guarantee we work to resolve the most crucial development issues.
This means going beyond helping the client change his or her mind about an issue. True success lies in the more transformative work of changing behavior so as to realize desired results. The outcomes of coaching, then, are:
