About Stevie V Brown
Originally from the UK, Stevie studied Communications and Law; and obtained a 1st Class Honours degree in Advertising & Marketing. Whilst at university she worked her way up to the role of Recruitment & Training Manager for Next Retail; a well-known UK fashion store. She began her corporate career in Advertising in heavy-weight London Agencies, such as Saatchi & Saatchi and McCann Erickson. Throughout her corporate career, Stevie worked with global blue chip clients to assess their business challenges, design effective campaign strategies and achieve measurable results. Starting out in project management, Stevie quickly progressed to strategic planning and leadership roles, heading up teams on key client accounts, including brands such as L'Oréal, Coca-Cola, McDonald's and Visa. Throughout her career, she has held a number of agency management roles where she has been involved in creating people performance systems, designing re-structures, team training and development, and operations.
Stevie's experience is broad-reaching, both in discipline and geography; having worked across multiple industries including consumer electronics, cosmetics, food service, FMCG, liquor, retail, leisure and healthcare in the UK, Europe, Australia, and Asia Pacific. Her knowledge reaches from brand strategy and product positioning to promotional marketing and activation; through to shopper marketing and category management.
In 2012, Stevie obtained an internationally recognised formal Coaching Qualification with the Life Coaching Academy and became a NLP Coach Practitioner. She went on to start her business The Change Starter in 2014, and now works with growth-oriented small business owners, applying high quality strategic thinking and frameworks to growing businesses. Stevie is passionate about helping business owners to communicate the value of their offer with confidence to grow their client base and improve their business effectiveness and profitability.
Stevie is currently studying for a Masters in Digital Marketing and provides expert advice to Dale Beaumont's premium Business Blueprint clients. She is also active in the tech startup community being herself a co-founder and investor to a food tech startup. Stevie is a keen socialiser and networker with a passion for connecting people for mutual benefit.
