MEET YOUR COACH
Janice Beasley is an abuse survivor, turned self-made entrepreneur. She has lived through and triumphed over some of life’s most difficult situations. Left on her own with no one to turn to but God, she spent countless hours searching scriptures to find her purpose, and the strength and courage to pursue it.
Lady Defend-Her was founded in 2015 as an organization for the empowerment of women, and an advocacy against domestic violence, sex trafficking and crimes typically committed against women. As a situational awareness instructor she works with victims to ensure their safety and connect them with necessary resources.
Janice received her professional certification in June 2019, however, she has been “coaching” unprofessionally for more than 3 years. She is the founder and director of the Soul Care Ministry at her local church, and volunteers monthly at local nursing homes, shelters, and with community service organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance from Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, West Virginia, and Christian Connection and Ministry Awards from Christian Leaders Institute.
Janice’s desire to turn Lady Defend-Her into a Christian Coaching profession has been months in the making. While it’s obvious she posses the faith, knowledge, talent, skills and gifts to practice effectively, she wanted to complete the necessary courses and receive the certification required to ensure others that they can have confidence in her.
